OTR Truck Driver (Former Employee) – Westmoreland, NY 13490 – June 21, 2017
*Daily work would change based on the loads given.
*Very rarely would you sit waiting for a load. They Always have you moving.
*Very Friendly Atmosphere.
*Trucks are newer like 2016 and up. They keep the maintenance up.
*Experienced former Truckers Working in Dispatch, they get it.
*They pay percentage of the load vrs cpm. which can turn out better.
*one draw back on that. they do not pay dead head miles.
*they don't calculate when dispatching, time to next shipper/ any delays/ washout/ fuel if needed. Which can cause an issue with LOGS.
*Most days your running so much, Its hard to get real sleep.
*They are just integrating E-LOGS in all trucks.
freedom to fuel basically anywhere.
They go home with out giving you news that you need to know, some news is better than no news. At least you can plan your down time better.
