In my department, team work was non existent. No one ever smiled!!!
A few years ago I worked in the Core Lab for 10 years and it was like family , everybody was friendly and helpful a real team. I the went into outpatient phlebotomy and the Supervisors were very unfair and some of the girls were really mean. All they cared about was there self and there schedule and what satellite they wanted to work in. And if they were friends with the supervisor at that time they got what they wanted. Even if it meant to pull someone else out that was doing a good job, never called off and the patients liker her services. I was in this position 8 years and had 7 supervisors. I was there a total of eighteen years and went to everyone Human resources, supervisors, other co workers for help and everyone was so afraid of doing the right thing. Because it might make them look bad. At one time I was proud to say I work at RHMC. When I could no longer say that and felt I need to be away from all these negative people. I resigned which I found out was just as bad because I loved my job and was good and a dependable person, so I went to a therapists and he said there are quite a few RHMC employees that come here for therapy. And that is our new Health System at RHMC.

Avoid radiology. Place only cares about money. Assembly knows me mentality. Money is ok but not worth it. Ask about radiology- esp. CT turnover.
Depends if you were on the floor or in the mechanical areas

It is fair depending on the department. I found it was competitive at other departments. On the positive side, employees are trained for their positions and given the tools necessary to perform their duties.
