Great People, Great Mission, Volatile Industry
Manager (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILJanuary 10, 2018
Red Frog has strong CEOs that have built an unparalleled culture. There are family lunches, foosball tournaments, and great people in every department. Red Frog as a company puts on fantastic events, some of the best in the industry. However, the events industry is volatile, which can lead to frustrations involving budget cuts, room for growth, and the occasional mass layoff.

Staffing Strategy Coordinator (Contract) (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILSeptember 18, 2015
Red Frog Events is super unique in many ways from office culture, compensation benefits and perks, flexible schedules, and meaningful, fulfilling work projects. It's far off from your typical 9-5 business professional job, but still a great place to gain great experience!

Event Director (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILAugust 18, 2015
Working at Red Frog for several years provided one of a kind experience that expressed an open culture, friendly environment, entrepreneurship, and traveling adventures.

Events are tough work and it requires people with strong minds, perseverance, and teamwork. Red Frog was great at embracing teams and encouraged to make the impossible, possible.

At times, decisions were made too quickly and drastically. Red Frog is still very much a growing and young company; and has a lot to learn in terms of corporate culture, proper staffing, employee growth, salary improvements, and HR.
Pros
Travel, friendly environment, neat events
Cons
Very, very long and strenuous hours, understaffed, young and inexperienced managers, not many professional growth opportunities

The best internship experience one could ask for!
Event Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILJanuary 26, 2013
The Event Coordinator Internship with Red Frog is unlike any other internship in Chicago. It gives you a hands-on approach to countless aspects of the event planning business, from digital marketing to sponsorship to inventing scavenger hunts. The people you work with are amazing and love their job. The only downside is that they can't hire everyone from the internship!
Pros
fun family, treehouse, good pay and time off for interns!
Cons
low hire rate
