Too much favoritism going around amongst people. But everyone very nice until they under stressed then they get careless and rude to each other. Good managers but I feel that they get too busy and current things get over looked. Got along with everyone but only a few employees would be sneaky and try to throw you under the bus when they feel like you make them look bad by your hard work and they're laziness. But, like any other restaurant it's no different then the next that has alot of employees who don't take their job serious.

50% of food discounts, good managers, friendly coworker.

Favoritism!!!, long hours with no break

I would rate my experience at Red Lobster as good.

I enjoy bartending and very much enjoy my co-workers. I find that most nights, my tips are great and the management is typically fair. I would like the benefits to be better and COVID has thrown a wrench in everyone's plans.

Food is great

Short breaks, benefits

easy work decent money

Management is fair and everyone at work is easy to get along with. Decent money can be made if you’re willing to work for it but promotional deals like endless shrimp and 3 from the sea are awful for servers

Horrible experience.

One of the worst experiences low pay bartenders actually mainly pack up Togo orders for low hourly pay making no tips & too busy doing togos to take tables or make money from bar guest.

Was fun but I wouldn't work there again

We got to listen to music and I enjoyed the work itself but the hours were rough. Split shifts were the norm. Breaks could be a few hours long but some days we'd go 14 hours with no break at all. I was supposed to be part time but would frequently get overtime and they'd try to ignore time off requests. Liked my managers and coworkers until I found out the new hires were making more than us so watch out for that

Occasional free meal if they call you in, fun environment

Good stability, great benefits for managers, provides insurance for hourly employees if they work close to 32 hours on average a week. Salary is above average for industry.

It's a typical corporate job. They care more about the numbers than the employees.

They cut hours when their numbers aren't good. Even if that means only having one person running the whole kitchen. You're expected to work more than what you're being paid for.

Kitchen was alright, but pay was awful and management wasn't very good

While I got along very well with all my coworkers, I never felt especially appreciated for my work (in regards to pay and management acknowledgment). Cross-training was required in kitchen but pay didn't increase along with it until certain seniority milestones were met, and the raises were usually underwhelming. Management was VERY hit or miss, with managers frequently disappearing into the office for hours. Some were alright, but wouldn't be there long due to high turnover.

50% off meals Friendly staff

Bad pay Lazy management Low chance for advancement

Overall a positive place to work

I worked there for a long time so I saw a few different managers come and go. More often than not I did like the managers. I made a lot of money as a server and they were always willing to be flexible with my schedule. They held friendly competitions for the servers to see who could sell the most appetizers, drinks, desserts, and special dishes. If you won you were always rewarded. Sometimes with a gift card, sometimes with concert tickets to the house of blues. If you work hard they will recognize and support you

Discounted meals, flexible schedule, good pay

Short breaks

out of all the jobs i hate this is by far the worst i honestly hated working there so i quit. It is very slow and if you’re a teen like me i wouldn’t recommend it it’s very boring by the way pay is minimum

Not much to do honestly very easy

No breaks, Under staffed and the management is terrible pay is minimum

Great food and comfortable atmosphere. Reasonable process and good food.

It was hard work. But it made you want to go back the next day. Good people to work with is hard to find. There was always something to learn and someone willing to teach

Good pay. Good coworkers. A good chance to advance.

Not a job if you have a young family. Long hours.

Not hard just annoying

Being charged for the food you eat is stupid to me n unfair. The staff is ok I suppose but the way hours for the week are set up is annoying. If wasn’t for the pay I wouldn’t have even worked here

Standing and paying for food

Productive and fun place to work

I enjoyed working with the company . The hours are flexible when enrolled in school. The co workers help out the new people and the manager is great.

Fun fast pace

It’s not a very good job. The hours are decent as far as flexibility goes. When this place gets busy it gets extremely busy. Out of control busy. Very stressful job for low pay.

Messy work

Fun workspace

Great for a first job managers are kind you get free biscuits so that’s a plus. Job can be stress full but you just have to not let the customers get to you

Nothing is ever fair.

Managers have to give reason as to why they are taking off and if someone doesn’t like it, it gets denied for no reason. Shifts worked are never fair. Training is impossible. This is all based off of my experience with the company, some others have had different options.

Free lunches

Long hours, no family time, in fair work schedules

Decent job but the pay isn't enough at a certain point

some of the best managers I've ever had, good coworkers, overall not a bad experience. management is willing to work with you when it comes to your schedule or anything else you may need. really just came down to the pay

great managers, great coworkers

Management was bad

Restaurant does not get very busy, so tips are not something you should count on. Culture is decent, had a few bad experiences with a manager, but ---
