For salaried employees the amount of time spent at work can be long and arduous. Typically 9-11 hours each day. It can feel like a grind after about 6 months on the job. Depending on the group you work in, it may be a battle at work and also on the commute to and from work. Expect about an hour commute time (one way) for a distance of about 25 miles. If you earn over 150k annually you may be able to afford to live closer - if not, good luck.

The interview process was approximately a month long. I had two phone interviews and an in person interview. The in person interview will be with everyone in the department who is above you. The questions were not very hard and the environment was friendly.

The culture at Regeneron epitomizes the "Super Chicken" model of work. Most of the people who are made to compete at Regeneron will try to peck you to death. In my group almost all middle management (Scientist-Sr Staff Scientist) and their minions (Research Associates) are incompetent back-biters. The director of the group was exposed defrauding lower ranking scientists within the group of their ideas. There are a few good people who are actually interested in the satisfaction positive work can provide. Sadly the vast majority of people employed by Regeneron are untalented and simply must work. Their insecure defense mechanism is to form cliques and force out any one who threatens their status. Overall the culture at Regeneron is highly toxic and dysfunctional.
