Management awful, Try to recruit you into personal cliques. Respect and kindness are assumed as weakness. Try not to smile or appear happy too much. Stay in patients rooms as much as possible. They will swear a patient called them out of their names and tell you “I’m not going back in there, can you take them?” The travel nurses will leave floor - more ... together at the same time, but only one will let you know they’re leaving. The Doctors and residents respond immediately, some will just come to the floor. They’re extremely helpful, initially I was in awe. Most would call back and Thank you for ma ... - less
ProsPhysical Therapy work tirelessly all day with the patients, To reduce errors during discharge, there is a discharge nurse on day shift, The Social workers and Case management are the best, The best pain managemen protocol, The Doctors care and bedside manners are the best, patient and family treat you as if you’re familiar and give y cute nurse nicknames, the ancillary staff are kind and helpful
ConsStaff lack patient centered care and teamwork
