If you’re looking for a long term job with great pay Regional Urology is NOT THE PLACE! This is by far the worst place I’ve ever worked for! The managers and supervisors DONT know what theyre doing at all. You’re not treated fairly, new upper management have come in and don’t know what they’re doing or the first thing on how to run medical office. Hiring extra people to do their job so they can stand in the hallways or each other’s office having personal conversations. They don’t give yearly raises to everyone! Only the workers they like will get a pay increase. Managers and supervisors talk bad about patients and some workers. Some workers stand around talking instead of helping patients or doing what they get paid for. They are constantly over charging patients for services. They only care about numbers and making themselves look good and putting the money in their pockets. These people are running this company in the ground!!!!!
Pros
Free lunch
Cons
Management, Supervisors, Pay

Medical Assistant (Current Employee) –  Shreveport, LANovember 16, 2018
Regional Urology could be great if they had adequate management and supervisors who really knew their departments and the skills to train correctly. They promote based on how long you have been their not your qualifications or if you can do the job. Ripping patients off not giving accurate out of pocket cost. Treating employees who find or catch errors as a enemy and not trying find solutions. It could be a great place if they really valued All Coworkers Opinions and Not See Knowledge as A Threat. Pray That It Gets Better.
Pros
free lunch, flexible depend on dept.
Cons
managment, pay, manipulative, misappropiation of money management, lack of training experience.

Clinical Support (Former Employee) –  Shreveport, LAJuly 15, 2018
Always came in early and stayed late, without pay. Just trying to provide the best patient care. New management comes in and they are just concerned with numbers and dollar signs. So, dedication and hardwork mean nothing to them . They should care just as much about employees as they do about patients. Patients are employees and vice versa. Spending lots of money on employee appreciation days would be better spent on your employees and their families. Firing people and no raises and cutting hours doesn't show employee appreciation.
Pros
occasional free lunch
Cons
not compensated for your hard work

Regionsl Urology is a good place to work just need to make sone adjustments on the trainers. Other than the people with seniority training it helps a person new to the medical field get a good feel for the type of work their up against

Medical Assistant (Former Employee) –  Shreveport, LANovember 29, 2017
Regional Urology has great Dr's but the management and workers do not work in a proper manner. The employees are underpaid and are treated poorly. Employees also make this clinic a very hard work environment and never show up to work promptly or accordingly. I have worked for other practices and no other clinic has been that disorganized or brutal.

Pros
Awesome doctors, amazing and kind patients, we would get lunch for free about once a week.
Cons
Never knew where you would be working, who you would be working with, Management did not separate work and outside life, The co-workers would not show up to work accordingly

very fast paced. management is terrible.

very cut throat

bad atmosphere

This company needs a lot of changes. Micro managed, no room to move up in the company. They do not hire from within, they bring in people from no where. One day you just find out you have a new manager.

Medical Assistant (Former Employee) –  Shreveport, LAApril 20, 2017
I enjoyed going to work daily. All of my co-workers were very sweet and I loved my manager. The most enjoyable part of the job were the doctors that I worked side by side with daily.
