What is the best part of working at the company? Having Bank holidays off is great. Working Monday through Friday is nice What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The rude customers and the fast pace of the job are very stressful when short staffed. Regions doesn’t appreciate its workers. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Stressful because of high turnover. The push sells off products the bank. Customer service is very important but not the employees. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Conducting bank transactions, providing fast and accurate service and balancing

Great Benefits but Poor pay and Management
Relationship Banker I (Former Employee) - Shreveport, LA - May 30, 2023
Regions can be a great company to work for but the pay sucks especially since cost of living has went up. Holidays off, Vacation and Sick time is great !! They hammer you down about sales and add a new job role to your position once a week. The management can be messy and very poor communication.

Laid back culture
Associate Financial Advisor (Current Employee) - Miami, FL - May 26, 2023
Good place to retire. Maybe not the best place for a young and hungry associate. Political as can be when it comes to Managment. Terrible management of financial advisors.

Great place to work as long as they needed your role.
Vice President / Mortgage Production Manager (Former Employee) - Greenville, SC 29607 - May 25, 2023
I really loved my time at Regions until I realized that they didn't need me anymore. Frankly, this was a buyer beware item for me because I knew the had a history of hiring to fill my market and they giving it back to the prior manager. That manager was an absentee for my time at Regions. Great benefits, Super friendly staff, Still have good memories.
Pros
People, Benefits, Freedom to succeed
Cons
Poor processing by not following their procedures internally, Deceitful leaders in some places

HR protects the problem
Financial Relationship Senior Consultant/Digital Coach (Current Employee) - Birmingham, AL - May 22, 2023
When there is a problem with management and it’s reported to HR, they protect management and never address the issue. They will gaslight you into thinking that something is being done but it’s not. They also try and keep branch employees in the branch instead of promoting them to a different position back office.
Pros
Work life balance
Cons
Pay, upper management, career advancement

Productive
Financial Relationship Specialist (Former Employee) - New Orleans, LA - May 20, 2023
Miss working here! Loved my co workers and manager. Didn’t like working weekends and they’re a bit pushy about sales goals which was stressful but overall good place to work

It was ok
Financial Consultant (Former Employee) - Orlando, FL - May 19, 2023
It was an ok place to work. Expected to do a lot in the branch which didn’t leave much time for sales. Not as sales driven as some other banks I have worked for but definitely had a lot of responsibilities that were not necessarily in job title but the bank was often short staffed.

Good pay
Relationship Banker II (Current Employee) - Jacksonville, FL - May 19, 2023
A lot of pressured sales and constant non compliance that is never handled properly unless it is from an employee the manager doesn’t like. Using employees with promise of promotion

Ok pay terrible management
Relationship Banker II (Former Employee) - Miami, FL - May 18, 2023
Management only cares about numbers and sales. They waste an incredible amount of resources into meetings and trainings instead of improving products for the benefit of the customers.

Financial Relationship Consultant Team Lead (Former Employee) - Fort Smith, AR - May 18, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Middle management is lacking and un ethical in many areas What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Never knowing how you will be treated by management. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? You never know what to expect from one day to the next. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Chaos and stressed. Favoritism ran rampant. Expected to complete unrealistic goals

Part-Time Teller
Teller I (Former Employee) - Mobile, AL - May 18, 2023
Start pay and performance/time put-in pay raises were top notch when I was employed by Regions in late 2018. Especially for part-time work. Not a close-knit group of team players. Very diverse, but lacked inclusion and certain people were favored over others.

Duturs
Client Service Representative (Current Employee) - Remote - May 16, 2023
Good so far. Lots of phone calls. Slower as the week goes on. No weekends is great. Pretty easy once you get the hang of thing. Can be overwhelming though

Helping customers, and making sure they always leave with a smile on their faces.
Financial Relationship Specialist (Former Employee) - Princeton, IN - May 15, 2023
The work load for my position was almost impossible to finish while trying to accomplish the required sales goals. It was also impossible for me to move up even after doing all of the required training. They would always keep people at their current position and hire someone outside of the company, with or without any banking experience.
Pros
Co-workers, most of the customers
Cons
Required sales goals and cold-calling, too much operations work for one person

Horrible place to work
Relationship Banker (Current Employee) - Gretna, LA - May 15, 2023
I would not recommend working here. The pay is decent but the lack of training to prepare you for your job is horrible. They rather hire people with no banking experience than promote from within. It is a bully culture and no way for you to advance if you are not in the “in crowd.” Also if you have been there, the bull of the work load falls on you and management is not held accountable. Management has no banking experience and can not train, coach or help a team. Worst company i have worked for

Professional
Relationship Banker (Current Employee) - Memphis, TN - May 9, 2023
Have had the best time. Have sales goals but management is super helpful in assisting and providing guidance. I think goals are responsible and pay is much better than most.

Potentially good career
Financial Relationship Consultant (Former Employee) - Montgomery, AL - May 8, 2023
I could not stand my time working at Regions any longer, it might be a good fit for some, I started as a consultant, our branch lost a lot of people, they stuck me in the drivethru window, no opportunity for commission

Not Enjoyable
Teller (Former Employee) - Nashville, TN - May 1, 2023
Hard to care for customers when all management cares about is pushing account openings and credit cards. Required to work weekends if branch is open or branch nearby is open on weekends.

Under paid
Electronic Banking Specialist (Current Employee) - Pensacola, FL - May 1, 2023
Job is overwhelming and we are under paid for the work. Didn’t get a raise two years out of the five that I’ve worked there. Bonuses we use to receive were taken away as well.
