Awful pay structure! The stylist are ripped off as long as you work for a company like Regis/The Beautiful group. Stylists are over worked and underpaid. In order to make a decent living a stylist has to earn a substantial amount daily.
Once the company takes 50%, for most stylist 60% look forward to simply working for minimum wage. The only good thing about the company is to inspire stylist to gain the knowledge and skills to open your own salon or partner with other stylists. I encourage stylists to keep greedy corporations out of your pockets!

Corporate has never worked behind the chair and their horrible decisions reflect it. Pay is NOT competitive. They just lowered prices as well, so now 30% pay cut with increase demand to meet retail quotas! Impossible. You might as well just work at Wal-Mart as a cashier. You'll make more. Hours are way too long for a salon. Stay Away!!
