The only vacations days we get are when the students are off. This means I cannot go on vacation unless its on the scheduled week off by the school. There are 4 weeks off per year, so that’s 16 vacation days. They recently granted us 8 hours of pto to use one time during the year. I work 10 hours a day. So do the math. If I take off a day and use the pto, I still get docked for 2 hours of pay. Horrible incentive to stay.

You get four break weeks a year but can never accumulate enough PTO to take all four weeks.

Great, as long as you have the PTO and your supervisor approves it you can take the time off

All Sick and Vacation days were grouped into PTO. New employees received 10 PTO days per year (accrued bi-weekly) and earned PTO days with seniority.
