I left because i was tired of the excuses for not getting the proper training needed to be successful all while they promote friends and buddies. They expected me to pick up the slack for someone else who they allowed to leave early ,work other jobs etc. Worked with a 2 peraon store for months and 60 plus hour weeks yet never once did they appreciate it or think that JUST MAYBE this person really wants to be here . The DM'S do shady nonsense and are not held accountable for their actions and it doesn't help that a few of them are good friends and cover for each others foolishness.. Smh UNPROFESSIONAL , UNETHICAL ,AND HONESTLY NEED A CALL FROM THE EEOC AND A FEW OTHER PLACES in regards to some CLEAR issues that no one will address .

Answered

ZERO COMMITMENT TO TRAINING and unless you're a "FRIEND OR BUDDY " you're put on the back burner until they decide to give you the tools to be promoted if that ever happens at all.

Better pay, I feel like a lot of assistant managers don’t get paid enough. As well for the men who do the deliveries, they’re so focused on making the stores a franchise and profiting that they forget about the people who work for them. Their employers are the reason why the stores are still running, yet no recognition it’s sad to admit it but a lot of us have families who we don’t get to see because of our job. Benefits are great but then there’s a copay for every appointment. It’s unfair to be making 14-15 an hour while doing the labor that we do. From deliveries to verifying customers and filling. Rent a center isn’t a place to work if you have a family.
