I really enjoyed my time with Republic. I worked with some great people and there is always something new to learn if you want to move up. It can be a bit slow in the bank at times but this is a great opportunity to learn more about the various products offered.

They have a horrible turnover rate for employees because of the lack of professionalism and poor management. No consistency on following procedure throughout every branch. Every location does things differently. Banking is federally mandated. All policies should be followed the same way by all locations. No support from management. Inadequate training. Benefits are poor as a lot of medical and dental codes for basic healthcare needs are not covered under plans. No work home life balance is allowed from "lower level" staff. Regularly hostile work environment where it feels like you are walking on eggshells. No teamwork from management when understaffed. As another review says "this is a financial institution that cares about their profits over the well-being of their employees." No balance in scheduling and favoritism is shown when it comes to shifts and schedules for different staff members.

This is a good small bank, straight forward and easy. Very old school ways of banking. Very customer service driven. Can be stressful at times but overall a decent place to work.

Just like any other job, it’s challenging but most importantly the team support and leaders support is great. Community involvement and opportunity to grow.

Interview Questions

Regarding my experience and they expectations

Shared on August 26, 2022

They don't ask in a prepared manner. They ask random questions to evaluate the type of person your are and your background and how you handle work.

Shared on August 10, 2017

Very unorganized interview. They asked me if I had any questions so many times that I cannot recall anything else they asked me.
