Personal Banker (Current Employee) –  Duluth, MNFebruary 19, 2019
The days in the office vary depending on when the community or businesses make deposits. At times the day can be overwhelming, and other days are used to catch up with paperwork.

Cashier/Customer Service (Former Employee) –  Lexington, KYFebruary 4, 2019
Worked here for several years and only left due to a relocation. It was a busy banking center and the stress was placed on sales. The need to meet or exceed goals was driven by upper management, which would drive daily and monthly sales meetings, I understand the concept of retaining clients through product growth, but retaining good employees is just as beneficial. More employee recognition / incentives are important.
Pros
Excellent opportunities for additional knowledge training
Cons
More employee perks

This was a very great job. I started as a part time teller, working my way up to a head teller. I learned how to manage personalities and work as a team and as a leader. Very fun workplace, working on creative ways to keep the community and customers happy.

Great environment (in my department), good wage.
Didn't overload your dutys. Knowledgeable managers. Sucky parking. Not great on food options. Not a big enough breakroom.

Staffing Issues
Senior Store Supervisor (Current Employee) –  Marlton, NJJune 18, 2018
Short staffed and with the long hours the branches are open it is very stressful.
Might not be too bad if we had appropriate staffing.
They are open 7 days a week so be prepared for working weekends.
Doesn't leave much time for a home life.
Cons
long hour, work holidays, no holiday pay

New Company Low Pay
Customer Service Associate (Former Employee) –  Cherry Hill, NJMay 6, 2018
I pray would’ve liked Republic as a company. But the branch I was with was more of a clique. The pay was really low compared to other banks. The transaction processes are drawn out and outdated
