Great for sales employees. Terrible for admin/corporate/office.
Office role (Former Employee) – Georgia – March 14, 2018
This is a great organization if you’re in sales. However, people who don’t start their careers at RNDC and accept an office/admin/corporate role will quickly discover that the majority of the company’s leadership are former sales employees. While this shows great upward mobility for sales associates, it’s concerning when you realize your finance and HR leadership have little to no experience in finance or HR. They simply hit their sales numbers consistently and wanted to work in an office instead of in the market. Because of this, this company is very far behind when compared to its peers or similar sized organizations. The majority of its leadership teams have minimal experience outside of wine and liquor sales. The vacation policy is also archaic. There’s no time off during the holidays for sales/operations, which is understandable given the industry. But for a company that cheers “family values!” at every opportunity, they should compensate with a better policy during slower times. The health insurance has only one option and it’s a very high deductible plan. It pays for next to nothing outside of basic checkups. If you get sick or have so much as a cavity, you will be emptying your pockets. If you have a family, hopefully you can get on your spouse’s policy.
Nice people, generally laid back environment
Outdated practices, “good old boys” mentality, below average benefits, political, bad vacation policy, preaches values it doesn’t follow
