Great People and Empowering Culture
The founders are very active in working with the entire employee base to expand on the company's mission. The company is growing rapidly in an ultra competitive space, yet there is so much left to do. There are numerous highly realizable opportunities in front of the company. This will take investment and time, but presents a really interesting chance for current and future employees to be a part of something special. Employees are empowered to take on responsibility and get things done. There is no bureaucracy nor arrogance. Good ideas are pushed to the forefront of conversations and those that come up with them are given the autonomy to execute. The team is small and nimble, but growing. This can sometimes mean that prioritization is not only key, but a constant struggle. All things considered, that is a good problem to have.

There are a lot of benefits working here; cool office, work events, great coworkers, competitive pay. The downside was no growth and monotonous job. I was doing the exact same tasks on day 1 as I was on my last day. They constantly promise growth but it never comes.

The founders of the company care about the employees, the community, and our customers most of all. Bringing the human touch into the crowded online travel search engine space cannot happen over time. The good news is that the founders and executive team take the time to be strategic, have the luxury of a smaller team to execute fast. And most importantly, they are open-minded and empowering of their leadership team and employees to contribute to the mission they have set out to accomplish.
