Poor ethic

Indeed Featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
Management is more competitive with themselves rather than trying to work together for the driver. More focused on numbers rather than going out onto the field or keeping up with current work flow and finding bottle necks in work availability

Good pay

Its a good job when the market is good you get all the loads tou want but obviously bad when market is down. Trucks are well maintained and any issues get taken care of immediately

Hurry up and wait

Do not work for this company. They have way too many people in management. If you don’t mind sitting at yard for 3 days with no pay waiting for a load this is the place for you. They are over crowded with drivers and don’t have the work to support it. Management doesn’t care that you set without getting a load. If you don’t like it they’ll tell you to quit nothing can be done about it. If your an experienced driver in hauling sand your better off working somewhere else do not work here you won’t last 2 weeks without getting upset. They do not care about the drivers.

Bad salary !!

I've been working with them! They never tell you how much you're going to earn until you see your check! that the rates per load are Poor! It has a very strict schedule system! You have to say the time you finish and the time you are going to start the next day! no day offPD: While working with them, they lowered the price of the rates! I never saw this at another job

Pros

excellent trucks good condition like new!!

Cons

Bad salary !!

Something different

Great job to have, great learning curve Meet great people and pay is fair. Good leadership and safety. Would like to get stop pay,and percentage of load should be more

Cons

Equipment could be better

They have good equipment

I have been home for almost 2 days had an oil leak and was put out of service until they deemed that it was not my fault that is wrong other than that everything is good

Pros

For the most part, they leave you alone

Cons

The bad part is whatever happens you’re wrong and it blame until P wrong

Good pay - long hours - busy at times - slow at times. It is what it is - Gas & Oil work

I enjoyed my time at Resource. Gas & Oil work is feast or famine. Be prepared to work 70 hour weeks when it’s busy & to maybe get relocated or laid off if it gets slow.

This company has no communication with drivers. Dispatchers have no idea of their jobs. There is a high turn over rate for drivers and dispatch.

Field operators are very unsafe. Safety is not a priority. No communication at all. Management doesn’t care about how things are run in the field. Third parties have more priority over company drivers. Being truthful is not a common practice here. I do not recommend this location for employment.

Pros

Great sign on bonus and referral bonus.

Cons

No communication, Drivers are told to work for free, The pay you have to work for it, Other drivers are cut throat and will literally run you off the road to get unloaded first, Third parties are held in high regard.

Class A driving hauling sand

You drive class A hauling sand. It's a job and they are requiring us to go to Towanda PA to keep our jobs. For some of us 6 hrs is too far to travel. The trucks are fairly newer and trailers are in ok shape. Manager is rarely seen. Pay isn't too bad just long hours. Benefits aren't bad but we don't get to use pto like we should. Keep ur head down and do ur job and don't make waves. Some people will get to leave early and others won't be able to. It's an easy job if u can deal with the politics here. Paid hourly and percentage.

Pros

Macks, 13 speed, heat, ac, brakes

Cons

Forced to travel 6 hrs away to Towanda PA, Manager, Macks

Its a job, with benefits.

I've been working here for over 1 yr now and have been through 2 pay changes. It's long hours but easy work. We get benefits but they never allow you to use your PTO. " It's a privilege" is what they tell us. Trucks are newer macks or kenworth. If your truck breaks down, you're off til it gets repaired. Some guys work 12hrs days and some guys work 8 or 10 hrs a day. Really it depends on who you are.

Pros

Schedule, benefits

Cons

Culture and management

Terrible management

Worst company to work for in the Oilfield. Management is extremely poor. They treat drivers as if they should be lucky to work there. They don’t pay you anything for wait time and sometimes you have to wait up to 8 hours with no pay.

Pros

N/a

Cons

Terrible management, no pay for wait time, and the pay rate sucks

Easy job, just lacking loads

I took the job based on 7 loads a day and sadly we never get close to that. At most we run 3 and its inconsistent. We do have newer Macks with 13 speeds and 100,000 miles. Coworkers are nice most of the time. Management is terrible. Dispatching seems like you always get skipped in staging. The job is easy, just cant make any real money here. Schedules are straight forward and usually the same for a few months. If you can be happy with 70hrs and 8-15 loads a week (on a good week) this is the job.

Pros

70hrs, coworkers, daycabs

Cons

Cant get more then 8-15 loads a wk, managment, nights

Long hrs

I started in 2019, and it was a great company at first. 70 hrs per week and great benefits. I left in 2020 and I wouldn't go back. Too volatile, but I do miss the friends

Pros

Benefits

Cons

Too unpredictable

Be ready to work and also do nothing

Overall it’s a good job. Work a lot, get paid pretty solid. Job is fair and if you come to work everyday you’ll make good money. If you can’t budget your finances, would not recommend. If you don’t want to work 65+hrs a week, also would not recommend. Nice PTO package. Benefits good as well. Have weeks that you’ll make more money than you ever thought you could as a company driver. Some weeks you get by, but still paid decent. Make sure you’re ok with sitting in a day cab for hours at a time doing absolutely nothing. Make sure you’re also ok with running out your full 11hr drive time and hustling all day.

Pros

Pay. Left alone to do your job.

Cons

Pay inconsistency. Home time. Over staffing with trucks

Used to be great

Got huge pay cut this year. Management doesn't care about drivers needs any more. It's all about the money for them now. They hired a lot of drivers lately that cut in front of others costing you money and speed and other safety issues causing us to lose contracts.

Pros

Better than otr pay but have to work butt off to get it.

Cons

Management. Safety department.

So far so good.

Been here 5 months and it's been good. Work is steady and plentiful. Great thing I like is that they work straight with the oil company and not the actual Frac Company. Trucks are 2019+ which are clean before you get into them when you start your hitch. They pay% , mancamp for your 24 reset, no forced dispatching but encourage to make more then 2 loads per day. As of now my best day was a 5 load day.

Pros

Your time management is your limit

Cons

They need improve the incentives for drivers.
