Take chances if you want to work there, once start; it feel normal for a few weeks...than It becomes very competitive working there amongst coworkers, feels very bias. the overall company studies you, have a private graph/rating profile on you, studies your behavior with comparing to your coworkers. Oh wait; if you speak your mind, opinion(s) of wether if it is the truck that is unsafe to drive, you than become a target; as a I was told. There is no unison, just backstabbers.
Depending on the territory, you may feel very overwhelmed and what they say is like drinking from a fire hose when it comes to the training and the travel to other states that is required. Some of the job requirements are fun and the team building can add to the culture. Management needs a little help in their people skills to not intimidate new hires, they may keep their employee retention goal rate if they did. Job work/life balance is not good.
Not a place to hazardous frightening off the rats working in dangerous places fearing you may get killed and company not allowing us to carry protection because a employee killed himself in the Chicago depots.
Restaurant Technologies is a medium size growth oriented company. If you have not worked for a growing company this may not be the right fit. Managment only cares about the bottom line. Decent pay, expect to work 60 hrs a week as a salaried employee.
Overall I have had a good experience. The Job and home life ratio has gotten way better. Not too much over time but it is there if you want it. I would recommend this to a person in their late 20s and 30s
This is an awesome corporation to work for . This company pays well , has great benefits and bonuses and they have awesome schedules that works well with family and social life . Corporate also tries their best to keep their employees happy .
Great pay and great benefits and great corporate staff
The hardest part of working for this company in the role that i had was when the work was slow and i had to find things to do to occupy my time. That wasn't all the time however. A lot of days there was a very good deal of work to do
Company meetings came with catered lunches
Sometimes the work load would be slower than other days
Great company to work for. Management has a great open door policy. I personally grew stronger work skills here like reading building layouts, working with heavy grade mechanical hand tools and communication between sales, managers and customers.
Monthly all hand meetings with provided lunch. Tools and uniforms are provided.Paid PTO
Advancement opportunities are very low. Pay and work load are not equal
