Has it's positives but all in all its a black hole
Merchandiser (Former Employee) – Chantilly, VA – December 19, 2017
Where to begin.... they say they hire and promote from within but constantly hire from outside filling positions and taking opportunity away from those that start entry level and grind. They have given the store managers so much room to complain and whine about anything and everything it's like watching the children of bad parenting throw temper tantrums. Management will allow anything to be said in any manner to you but if you even think of responding you are scolded and reprimanded. If you do rebuttle and or raise your voice you are then fired. Believe me these managers will push you and your manager will NOT stand up for their own employees when they are disrespected and talked to like a dog (and you will be) The simply say "suck it up" The job has alot of aspects that are fine. Such as freedom to drive your route and work your stores alone with no one breathing down your neck (other than the big brother app on your phone) pay is decent and so are the benefits. That being said they expect "PERFECTION" it's micro management to a T. I do not recommend working for this company. Go to Virginia Eagle or Hop and Wine
Accountant (Former Employee) – Orlando, FL – July 22, 2018
I have never seen a place where improvisation is part of their culture. Management without proper experience. the controller in RBG is a person that can stand her own ego; she doesn't even know how to do a staff accountant job. horrible individual.
You have long 11+ hour days as a driver . You throw beer all day and have to fill the shelves in all the stores . It’s a hard working job . But after some time your lower back will start to give out , and your body will eventually call it quits like most of the drivers did . Maybe if they paid there drivers more money they would probly consider staying. But to make 50-60k a year and do this job , the pay is not worth it , and the stress you put on your body is not worth it at all . This use to be the place to come and work. But the pay , and stress is not worth it.
It's a unhealthy work environment. Management or nothing but drunks liars and an ethical.
Account Manager/SalesAccount manager (Former Employee) – California – May 22, 2018
It's a unhealthy work environment. Management or nothing but drunks liars and an ethical. You have no life balance you have no help in the field. also the management problems become your problems due to showing no interest to any of the accounts.
Merchandiser (Current Employee) – Chantilly, VA – January 26, 2018
Its a physically demanding job but very rewarding. Sometimes long hours but you can get OT, good pay and benefits. Consistent work schedule and routes. A lot of great people that work here. There has been multiple people promoted from the team since I started. Monthly meetings to recognize employees. Been to some cool events too.
good pay, advancement opportunities, recognition, job security
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) – Chantilly, VA – December 25, 2017
Management will never back you up even if you are right. You will be lied to disrespected and overworked. Benefits cost is going up, vacation policy sucks. All in all not recommended unless you are looking to just get your CDL and move on.
Merchandiser (Former Employee) – Sylmar, CA – December 10, 2017
This company is a last resort. The pay is good but there is no work/life balance and too much work. You have to work every weekend and every holiday no matter what. There is little oppurtunity for advancement, only the managements favorites advance. You work 10-12 hours per day and have to pick up others slack. The benefits suck, mostly the medical wich is a high deductible plan wich means you have to pay for everything out of pocket. The sales people and management are always looking for mistakes and expect perfection. You have to carry a bunch of junk in you car (coupons, etc..). The only good thing about this job was the pay wich was decent. Also they have a really high turnover rate, so there is always a bunch of new guys.
Pay, free beer on holidays.
Work holidays and weekends, stressful, long hours, workload.
Mechanic (Former Employee) – Grand Rapids, MI – November 19, 2017
Was a good place to work now cutting insurance dont cover nothing dental and vission is extra bad management very stressfull no life outside of this place they dont care how many hours you need to work just get jobs done then they hold you accountable for every little thing not a place to work if you have faimaly and only want to work forty hours and want good heath coverage
Warehouse Worker (Current Employee) – Huntington Beach, CA – October 27, 2017
Work is very fast pace and rewarding. You have to like working at night and with a big group. Its hard work, but you are treated with respect. The culture is that of teamwork, it’s a clean environment, and room to advance as long as you perform
Operations (Current Employee) – Pompano Beach, FL – July 24, 2017
Gold Coast Beverage is an amazing place to be employed at. The culture of this company is great and I'm proud to be a part of it! The Safety ratings are amazing, the potential for growth is how much you want it, the leadership team is outstanding, the pride everyone shares is priceless and the compensation and benefits are great! It's like a family here and we are the best in class. I would recommend Gold Coast Beverage to a friend!

Operations (Current Employee) – Chantilly, VA – July 3, 2017
Premium Distributors of VA is an awesome company with so many great people. The focus on safety and wellness is top notch and they really invest in the companies trucks, its brands, all the equipment, the warehouse and lots of training. I started my career entry level and have grown with the company like so many others. Everyone that works here is hardworking but there is a real sense of pride and family. Good pay and benefits and lots of opportunity to grow with promotions and acquisitions constantly coming up. Department managers really care about their people.
great growth oppurtunity, safety culture, benefits and pay
holiday seasons can be challenging as it gets busy
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) – Chantilly, va – June 21, 2017
Premium Distributors of VA is a strong company with a lot of chances to move up in the Reyes Beverage Group family. It is hard work but very rewarding and the pay is very good. Good place to be if you want to try a lot of different things. A lot of delivery drivers go into sales, warehouse, or move up in the transportation department. I'm glad I started my career there and have come a long way since.
Unbelievable portfolio and size of company---great benefits and good compensation. Not a good place to be if you are concerned or want job security----constant worry and low morale----work/ family balance doesnt exist
Merchandiser (Former Employee) – Los Angeles, CA – June 14, 2017
They will take you in with little to no experiance, they will hire if you previously worked at a grocery store, very true no life balance, too much work. Seems like a good place to work at first but once youre there for over a month its crazy. With the workload they give you, start at $14 the hour so if you have no social life, family or kids then you might like this job, but if you like relaxing and doing thing on your days off you'll most likely be just thinking about how you do not want to go back to work. It just to stressful, super micro managed, the salesman and supervisor always on you, have to work 4-8 stores a day. So the work load is there. I say think about it..
Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) – Huntington Beach, CA – May 27, 2017
Hard work a lot of promise only the lazy ones get promotion work 12 to 16 hours hr n manager are full of lies no life balance they don't care about ur family n goals they just need you for the summer they think by having a bar n gym makes it a great place to work
Nothing just overtime the whole year
Whack review lots of hours doesn't pay well n if u lazy u well get a promotion
Sales Admin Support (Former Employee) – Summerville, SC – April 8, 2017
Used to be a good customer service based business. Now it is all about profits and quick results. Upper management is very much out of touch with employees and customers. Very tense work environment for employees with accomplishments and years of service meaning very little. High turnover rate because employees are terminated or jobs eliminated. If you are looking for a company to utilize your talents and experience, this is not the company
Benefits and fairly good pay
No job security and tense almost hostile work environment
