Good company, difficult clients
Regional Manager (Former Employee) – Austin, TX – January 1, 2019
The hardest part of the job was answering to multiple layers within RFI and their nationwide client as well as the contractors then the end customer. You answered to everyone at every level, all day, in every store.
The job itself has the challenges of covering your territory, providing immediate service to client associates, plus district level, regional level, management while supporting the national program and accounts. Hiring contractors in remote areas that don't want to work for national retailers on principle or from experience, or due to pay. In addition, the duties to the parent company and customers make this a job that though enjoyable if your territory is small. The travel was fun, the challenges were unique and relationships with colleagues were nice.
