If you were in charge, what would you do to make Riceland Healthcare a better place to work?
If I was in charge I would be an advocate for the staff. Without great nurses the reputation and patient care suffers. Nurses deserve raises based on yearly evaluations at the least. Many of the nurses work other jobs Riceland being the lowest paying of all other local comparable positions. Staff satisfaction leads to patient satisfaction. I would make an attempt to change the cheap mentality of this facility. Its not uncommon to not have the basics- ice, drinking water, paper towels, crackers, coffee. We have to stand out and provide a service that patients want to choose our facility over another outpatient facility.Asked September 30, 2016

What is Riceland Healthcare sick leave policy? How many sick days do you get per year?
You earn 4.67 hours of PTO(paid time off) every paycheck after you have been there for 6 months. medical benefits after 3 months. The rate for PTO goes up the longer you have been there. If you are sick or need to be off for a serious reason and don't have the pto to cover they will generally still let you take off , it will just be unpaid.Asked June 14, 2017
