It depends on whether you can brown-nose or not. I used to work for someone who had been managing NetSuite projects for 25 years. Just a technical flaw there - NetSuite came up as a company only in 1998, I wonder how the 4 additional years got padded ;)
Yes, he was in inner circle - anyone else not in such inner circles, are subject to intense negative feedback

RingCentral's work culture is one of the best. Everyone here is all on the same time and we all help each other win. I truly enjoy coming into work everyday and the free food and gym make it even better.

Culture was good overall at RingCentral they provided lunch daily and had pingpong tables and snack galore. This helped take stress of the position off of the mind and bring enjoyment into the work environment.

I love the products that RingCentral has to offer and clearly others do too because the stock price has risen like crazy. However if you are looking to advance in your sales career don’t work here.
Pros
Good stock options, free food, good insurance
Cons
Poor management, pay not competitive, micromanaging, lack of women leaders, not much advancement opportunities

RC is growing quickly and with that comes growing pains. It's a good company with a lot to offer, however, the communication between departments and even in departments is lacking.

The days can be long with meetings starting around 8 a.m. Pacific and maintenance windows starting around 7 p.m. Pacific. There is a diverse, mixed culture here which is cool but has some limitations. The development team largely exists in St. Petersburg, RU. That puts them about ten hours or so ahead of their US counterparts which means the day could start earlier and run later depending on what's going on. There's also a bit of a language barrier which, combined with egos and everyone being the smartest person in the room, can lend to long and sometimes, tense meetings. There's no shortage of work but the work there is is only really challenging because training is nearly non-existent. It is literally OJT in a complex environment and changing fast.

Hope to go back to work there soon. It was a good work environment and very needy customers. Patience and attention to detail is an absolute must with an accompanied open mind.

Pros: great place to start a career in tech. phenomenal perks and benefits. colorado office is huge and has a pretty relaxed feel. Opportunity for advancement (if the right people like you).
Cons: extremely cliquey. lots of favoritism. unclear employee standards. they hire almost entirely based on employee references (for professional services) so not a very diverse culture. Lots of millennials. TRUST NO ONE.

Great work life balance but management is disconnected from BDR teams. Upward mobility depends completely on what career path you are looking to pursue.

A typical day consists of multiple meetings, and plenty of alone time to get tasks done

I've learned countless new web technologies, and the in's and outs of how a major corporation runs it's day to day

the management team has been getting very organized, and have risen to the task of controlling so many employees

The workplace culture is a great mix of creative, meaningful friendships, and management fosters a strong sense of company pride

the hardest part of this job is advancing. Everyone who works here wants to be the best, and getting ahead means working smarter, not harder.

I enjoy the many benefits of using the newest tech, and having the time to enjoy the money I work so hard for!
Pros
Free lunch, great workplace, nice location
Cons
very competitive

Hired as a Consultant. Was the weeks had gone by, it was observed that Management probably felt I was over qualified for the position that I had applied originally. Some functions were outsourced to the Philippines to save money. But the results of the work did not support the company very well. Hence hiring Consultants to fix the mess and eventually train new, younger, less costly hires. Lesson learned? Skeptical.
Happy to venture onto another opportunity when it became available
Pros
Catered lunch once a week
Cons
Salary & Wage structure by Gender

A typical day at work includes internal and external meetings, working on account reviews, resolving disputes and it gets more busy during month end close and year end close. The good part of it is I was able to accomplish all the task on hand and still be able to assist other team members when they need help. Our team works very well with each other. And even with our busy schedule at work, we still manage to have social life within the office or with our off-site team outings. The company also provides great wellness program, including discounted chair massage to name a few. We have good perks in the office like free food, on-site gym, yoga and boot camp classes, valet parking. The management is clearly looking after the well being of the employees. They are ensuring that the employees are well taken cared off.
Pros

Cons
long working hours

Work hard and play hard. Responsible for reducing delinquency and reconciling disputes pertaining to outstanding balances. Ensure customer account accuracy to maintain successful business to business B2B invoice collections. Extensive research in Netsuite and SalesForce reviewing short payments, unapplied credits, and contract discrepancies.

As a PM expect to work 60+ hours a week, Very busy company and very demanding work load. Peers are great but Management is only thinking about close to case and getting revenue recognized.
