Machine Operator (Former Employee) –  New York, NYDecember 3, 2018
Great features. So good I wanted to add additional minutes and multilevel IVR. The sales representative said it would be an extra $12/mo. That's ok for the additional features.

What is not okay is that it resets my 4 year contract to day 1. Does not anyone have a 4 years cell service contract?

Shop available. There are other virtual telephone services without having contracts.
Pros
That's ok for the additional features.

Ring Central is complete with Thieving
Medical Assistant (Former Employee) –  New York, NYDecember 2, 2018
Don't mess a circular with these guys. Their agreement has hidden wording that creates sure that once they got you, it is going to charge you to leave them. Their client service has no idea what they are doing and puts you on keep for super long. Their phone disconnects, has horrible reception, as well as oftentimes your telephone will not even associate and has robotic massage that says "this telephone is not in service".
Pros
Satisfactory behavior
Cons
Their client service has no idea

I would not recommend pursuing a job here if you have any other options available. Terrible work environment and company culture. Mismanagement and disorganization to say the least.

"""Worst type of management!! ""
Manager (Former Employee) –  New York, NYNovember 11, 2018
"""Worst type of management!! ""
Pros
There is no issue in offering guidance to management. They have no awareness in the employees. Such a negative surroundings, leadership has no direction, high turnover so nobody knows whats going on.
Cons

Most people are completely political and play their technique to explore others.
Unprofessional larger management.

Sales leadership is quite thief and lacking in experience as well as structure.

The CEO should start holding the correct ppl accountable if he isn’t looking to be obtained and rid of the utter disorganization that is RC. The products are amazing but the leadership teams are seriously inadequate in sales and operations
"
Pros
Nothing much to discuss about Ring Central, Just Valueless
Cons
Very low salary, No incriment, Company with political risks, Most detrimental company to job ever.

Not Great for Working
Employee (Former Employee) –  Washington, DCOctober 31, 2018
Working at this company can be very stressful. They ask for too much for the pay given. Staff is not taken into consideration. No raises, hardly room for job advancement.

Huge Workload
Employee (Former Employee) –  New York, NYOctober 31, 2018
Extremely very long hours with zero suggestions on how we're changing the business for the beneficial. Tons of office politics. Every person seems to be either afraid and on edge to be there. There is no factor in offering advice to administration. They have no attention in the employees.
Pros
Workload is huge

Very Disappointed Services
Employee (Former Employee) –  CaliforniaOctober 29, 2018
The worst customer service I've ever experienced.
Very disappointed with their Services.
My suggestion: go with any other service provider, they'll actually take care of their customers and built brand loyalty.

Account Executive (Former Employee) –  Englewood, COOctober 1, 2018
Good company - Unrealistic Sales targets; poor coaching

You are small fish in a big pond with very little realistic opportunity to move up.

Coaching and learning management was virtually non-existent.
Pros
Free lunches

Very much an inside sales job. Little advancement upside
Sr. Account Executive - Mid/Major Market (Current Employee) –  Charlotte, NCMay 22, 2018
Great technology but this place has a very hostile work environment. They provide free food a few days a week but that is so you will get your food and go back to your desk and keep working. The company hires experienced sales people and promises big money and promotions but there are already 40 people ahead of you who have been there for years trying to get the same one or two new roles that open up from year to year. Some managers are great and experienced and some are very young and have little ability to manage people and set legitimate expectations. The company is doing well despite many of the internal problems. The majority of the employees are actively looking for new opportunities.
Pros
Don't be sucked in by the free lunch. Work and eat at your desk.
Cons
Your success depends on your manager.

Screw up
Front Desk Receptionist (Current Employee) –  FLApril 11, 2018
You get what you pay for. I lost service for 24 hours because of a mistake my Account Manager made. A week and 14 hours of tech support time later, messages lost and unrecoverable, technicians still trying to fix what was never broken and each time I get passed to another tech, they fix one issue and create another. Worked great for a year but low budget system, no continuity in customer support, lack of training with account managers and technicians who can't see the big picture. Cheap, affordable system as long as you never need to ask questions or have a problem. When they screw up, no apologies, no offer of remediation.

Worst Customer support
financial (Former Employee) –  floridaApril 9, 2018
Their customer service is absolutely horrible. Ever since I first signed up they have obviously changed the way they handle customer service. Originally they had their own call center with staffed agents. Then I started noticing situations where they had "level" techs. These were basically glorified secretaries that took all your information, said pretty words and then transferred to someone who dealt with the issue. It was inconvenient and time consuming but it wasn't a horrible experience. Now when you call it is straight up a call center reading off a script. They have no idea what the product even is and they just try to help you by pointing out the website FAQs or telling you something they are reading off a piece of paper. They are trained so horribly that you can actually detect the timing when they are reading off the paper. Horrible customer service.

Company is great and job is good if you have good manager
Business Analyst (Current Employee) –  Centennial, COApril 4, 2018
The company has great benefits and you will get the challenge to learn new things. Only if I have a supportive manager and doesn't play favorites... Two words to describe my job "Golden-hand cuff".

Sr. Director Cloud Operations (Current Employee) –  Belmont, CAMarch 16, 2018
Very fast paced and dynamic. If you are able to cope up with the day to day demands it is a great place to work. Overall the company is doing well. Nice cafeteria which serves free breakfast and lunch. Management cares for the employees and reasonably good career prospects.

Project Manager (Former Employee) –  San Francisco, CAFebruary 27, 2018
I liked working there. It was challenging and I learned a lot. Management is like all management, fickle and annoying. Changing direction at the drop of the hat, that's everywhere!
Pros
New tech at the time, smart people
Cons
arrogance
