For the most part...the kids are great.
Group Leader (Former Employee) –  Brooklyn, NYAugust 22, 2018
As an after-school group leader, you are required to make lesson plans for every subject that you teach. RiseBoro has meetings and people to help you write these lesson plans. As a group leader, you are rarely informed about trip details. Meaning, you won't know what time to leave or where the trip takes place. The workplace environment can feel hostile at times because instead of receiving feedback you will usually find yourself getting called to the office to talk to a director who is rarely there.
Pros
free lunch, trips
Cons
no breaks, neopatism towards "senior staff"
