I work at Farm Boy currently, and I was told yesterday by my very sweet HR Rep. that the company allows jewelry of "good taste" and nose piercings must be studs - NO RINGS ... food and safety concerns..
It depends upon your store. I saw a gal w/tats in one store that I worked in but in another store I didn't see any and was told that you weren't allowed any visable tats or body piercings but others had them. I think it depends upon what they are like and the manager in your store. That's how I saw it working in 3 different stores.............some had them and I know they did but they weren't shown. Some in another store had them and they were shown. So it's really up to the store manager. If you have them and get hired, I would ask if I had to take out a body piercing or cover a tat.
I never saw anyone with tattoos or piercing have any issues.
In the employee handbook I think it said no visible tattoos/piercings. It's all about who upper management is, and what they prefer. I've been working for five years and just this past year I've worn my nose hoop and haven't been asked to take it out by our DM.
Not crazy ones but yes
