Stressful work enivorment
Stressful work environment, lack of support, high turnover rates, ethical standards are very thin. Short staffed and over worked. They attempted to have a health work environment, but the cons do not outweigh the pros

Rewarding and challenging
I was fortunate enough to work at Riverwoods Behavioral Health for a hair more than two years before relocating. The working environment is consistent to other facilities of this nature, which is to say fast paced and unpredictable. That said the feeling of accomplishment was second to none. Aside from that I was honored to work beside my fellow BHAs and Nurse(s) .

Fun place to work
This job has slot of down time and your not micro managed. There is a lot of overtime given. This job is a great place to learn. I really like working here

Horrible
Environment is full of drama, pay isn’t worth the workload. They do not care about the patients and discharge them without providing the proper care. A lot of patients are “repeat offenders”, which I hate that term to describe them. But they are constantly coming back because of the inadequate care and the hospital eats it right up because they get money from the state to hold them for 3 days.
