Fast paced environment
Line Lead (Former Employee) - Salt Lake City, UT - August 11, 2021
RLS logistics will hire you regardless of background and give you a chance but it is not a healthy work environment. While I was there they had several forklift incidents and over $40,000 of damages caused by it and they lied about it on there Google reviews. They have an extremely high employee roll over rate that is over 200%, and salt lake city location does not really take care of there employees. They pay is descent starting out but they are very slow to give you benefits and higher you on full time.
Pros
Descent pay
Cons
Does not show interest in employee concerns

Terrible company
Forklift Operator (Current Employee) - Vineland, NJ - March 28, 2020
Very disrespectful leadership inside the warehouse....not a company for African Americans to feel appreciated, but they go out of their way to make sure all the other races are treated fairly. Advancement is unlikely unless you will allow yourself to be treated unfairly. After 2 years of dedicated service,I only received a .50 cent raise

Good place to work .
Warehouse Supervisor (Current Employee) - US - March 17, 2020
Good place to work. Benefits are ok. Good life work balance, very little mandatory overtime. The hardest part of the job is getting use to the cold, but if you willing to give it a try it's not to bad.

Logistics Operation Analyst (Current Employee) - Newfield, NJ - March 17, 2020
Most days are very hectic with answering the phone, making appts . You need to definitely be a multi tasker. Management is very flexible with time off , and pay is good.

Jobs at RLS Logistics
A great place to work!
RLS Shared Services (Current Employee) - Newfield, NJ - March 17, 2020
For the most part, RLS is a great place to work. It's busy and the day goes quickly. Management does their best to make it a good work environment. They plan activities during work and outside of work for the employees to engage with each other.. They cross-train so that you can understand what other departments inside the organization do. They are easy to talk too. They motivate you to do well. They give awards. There are cash incentives. My co-worker's are easy to work beside. The pay and the insurance could be better but I guess that is the same complaint no matter where you work. I love that they want you to do well as a person and not only as an employee. They have a "never ending wellness program" in which they pay you to lose weight. It's fun and benefits both them and us. They want us healthy and recently proved that with how they are handling the Coronavirus. They are allowing parents to work from home. They are keeping anyone who has had contact with a possible carrier home and away from the workplace. There are just so many things this company does that makes me proud to be an employee. I am grateful to be employed by them.

Unproductive
Forklift Operator (Former Employee) - Newfield, NJ - May 5, 2019
Forklift Operators there drive unsafe. It"s only a matter of time before someone gets injured.. they give the forklift drivers 20 dollars for every truck they load. thats not a good idea since those drivers are forgetting about safety.
Pros
free lunches
Cons
short breaks

Growing Company
Manager (Current Employee) - New Jersey - February 28, 2018
This company is growing quickly. Many good opportunities for the right person with the right attitude. Executive management always has an ear towards good ideas and suggestions. The company CEO's encourage continuing education, as well as providing on site learning courses for motivated personnel. Work atmosphere can be best described as "collaborative" as it's not uncommon to see managers and supervisors working along side their team members in production areas. Company provides fair wages, decent benefits, and an excellent Vacation/PTO plan.

A good company with opportunity for advancement for those who want it and will work for it
Warehouse Worker (Current Employee) - Newfield, NJ - June 13, 2017
RLS is a good company with a great vision of where they are headed. Yes you have to work hard, yes you have long hours but you are paid fairly are recognized for your efforts in many different ways. They are the only company locally that offers many of the rewards that they do (pay weekly but daily pay is also available, training, money rewards, discounts, many company events) and they are always adding more. They are always looking to promote from within for those that are willing to work for it. They aren't afraid to invest in their people who show and work toward it.
Pros
Free lunches, relaxed environment, rewards, daily pay option, company events
Cons
Long hours are expected but they are in most warehouses

Could be better
Logistics Specialist (Former Employee) - Pittston, PA - May 14, 2017
It's not bad but not good , they expect you to work 16hour shifts m-f and 8 or 10 hour shifts on the weekend the pay is decent but you can't enjoy the money if your always at work so in my opinion not worth it
Pros
Lots of overtime
Cons
Lots of overtime
