Not for Florida owners.
Independent Contractor (Former Employee) - Florida - September 4, 2023
Unfortunately, you will lose many days waiting to get a Roadrunner load out of Florida. Too many existing owners with “back room” deals, so most loads are covered. New owners have to wait in line, and there are too many waiting. There is potential, and lanes are good, but you have to pay your dues before earning what they advertise. Weekend dispatch support is a real professional and their strongest asset.
Pros
Pre planned terminal to terminal, east drop and hook.
Cons
You will sit and wait in Florida and other various hubs for loads.

Horrible Management and Dangerous Responsibilities
Vehicle Transporter (Former Employee) - Washington, PA - August 20, 2023
It's a job for people who can't find a real job... Management shows constant favoritism and team leads are very inexperienced at driving. The company is a joke over all, and offers no insurance or PtO time.
Pros
Scheduling and Job Security
Cons
Horrible management, Dangerous responsibilities

Work and bust your a** to make the auction and dealers happy while you are understaffed to meet what is expected and get no recognition.
Dispatch Manager (Former Employee) - Cincinnati, OH - August 16, 2023
In a nutshell do whatever it takes to make the auctions and number 1 dealers happy, there's about 5 to 7 dealers at the top of the auctions list that you better get their cars to them!

Unorganized poor management bad operations
Local Truck Driver Owner Op Contract (Current Employee) - Decatur, GA - August 9, 2023
Highly stressful environment at beginning of shift. Have to wait for your trailer to be loaded dispatch has a bad attitude and is snappy. Forklift drivers will run you over, dock is poorly organized, sometimes you have to look for your freight. These people do not care for their drivers nor respect that you are an owner OP. Very unprofessional staff. This is not a good company to partnership with it actually is the worst of the worst. You have to work extremely hard to make a descent check their pay is very low for the amount and time and hustle you have to put in.
Pros
None
Cons
Poor management, unorganized, unprofessional

Life threatening
Operations Assistant (Former Employee) - Coon Rapids, MN - July 30, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The drivers who work as ICs that drove daily routes. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Lack of help from anyone higher up What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Paperclips thrown at you. Complaints to superiors for help with personal matters resulting from employment there, and no help. HR in WI refused to return calls or emails.

Toxic
O/O Driver (Current Employee) - Bolingbrook, IL - July 27, 2023
Honestly between taking me a total of 3 months to finally get onboard, recruiter NEVER calling me back with updates, constantly having to call in to maybe talk to someone who can possibly help, and super entitled dispatchers that love brushing you off, and or acting as if you are such a disturbance to them I’m just not sure there’s much reason to come here. Everything seems very disorganized and the pay is pretty subpar. They’re better companies to drive for to say the least.

Great place to work!
Customer Service (Current Employee) - Akron, OH - June 28, 2023
I love helping customers and I see big changes within the company. I am excited to see what is next! I get joy when I am able to resolve a customer inquiry with little ease. In addition this is a remote work environment that allows for work-life balance. Great place to work!

Nice place to work
Owner/Operator (Former Employee) - Atlanta, GA - June 28, 2023
You can make money if you are teams but solo not that much. They keep you moving wherever you are. 99% drop and hook, no appointment needed for pickup.

No words
Owner/Operator (Former Employee) - Chicago, IL - June 25, 2023
All I can say is sometimes you have to take a chance if you don’t believe the reviews and balance the good from the bad. When you see that it is not working out don’t waste time to leave.

Shoestring Budget
Fleet Maintenance Supervisor (Current Employee) - Atlanta, GA - June 7, 2023
The company is good in terms of being able to create and innovate. There isn't a set of rules to go by in this department, so your free to be as innovative as possible to get the job done. The downfall is that they don't have the budget of higher level transportation companies.

This place is a scam. They pretend like their separate business .It's all setup to scam you. Beware drivers!!!!!
Driver (Former Employee) - Humble, TX - May 16, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? At first I was able to to create my own lanes, which made it possible to see my kids but they would give loads to over drivers to force you to take loads that no one wants. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The constant increase on your lease agreement . It was always so reason they want to take more money from you. It got to the point where it was more money in being an company driver. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? I was an owner Operator so it was a independent culture What is a typical day like for you at the company? Pretrip your truck, book your load deliver and repeat.

Toxic
Pricing (Former Employee) - South Milwaukee, WI - April 18, 2023
This used to be a decent place to work for. But after they were bought out and made a private company again, things just kept going downhill. New executive management doesn't seem to really know much about the transportation industry. They stopped caring for or listening to the employees who had been there years. Many upper management employees had left the company in a short period of time...what does that say?

Not recommend for people who are looking for a career!
Transportation Specialist/Driver (Former Employee) - Commerce, CA - April 13, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? There is no best part, pay is pitiful; only good thing is it’s terminal to terminal What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The most stressful part is dealing with upper management, also on weekends there’s only one dispatcher to handle calls from the drivers, you can be on hold for over an hour including emergency breakdowns! They promise you the world but don’t deliver; they’ll switch up in the middle of your contract; they’ll put you out of service when it’s their fault; you can’t get a load when you are placed OOS! What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Dallas was the only decent terminal I experienced; the Atlanta terminal is a dump with nothing for the drivers but a shower! What is a typical day like for you at the company? A typical day is an unpleasant one!

Stay away from this place
Independent Contractor (Former Employee) - Charlotte, NC - March 30, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? There really isn't anything good about working at this place What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The most stressful part is coming to work everyday What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Work environment bad. Terminal Manager has a nasty attitude and dispatchers don't know how to do their jobs. They constantly change the pay to keep drivers in the losing end What is a typical day like for you at the company? A typical day is you coming in and being mad because someone has you doing something crazy
