3-4. If you’re sick, you might as well bring a doctors note so they believe you.
Employers with fewer than five employees must provide unpaid sick leave. Employers with one or more domestic workers who have worked for the employer for at least a year and who work more than 80 hours a calendar year must provide paid sick leave.
I believe the standard 7 days.
Not applicable to short term project consultants
It's a contract position. You don't get sick leave. If you get sick you don't work and you don't get paid... or you work sick.
No paid sick leave
The only way they offer you sick leave is because California mandates it. Otherwise you're screwed.
You get no PTO, vacation, bereavement leave; nothing.
