Very political and lack of value for those in the trenches working with kids. Good teachers being walked out with no due process... it happens every year. Lots of back stabbing by some administration. They need to start cleaning house by eliminating administration that is not effective

Answered

Be keeply honest and upfront

Answered

I work an average of 8 hours a day. I have put in longer days and weeks here in the district, my hard work hasn't gone unnoticed.

Answered

Motivated. The days were not always routine. Interactions with the students could be difficult some days but there was support from senior staff.

Answered

I would have staff write evaluations (anonymously) for the supervisors to rate employees.

Answered

Tens days a year. Only a certain percentage of staff can be absent.

Support your educators! Make students accountable for their behaviors and get some fresh faces in your administration. I was amazed with how folks at the school I worked for did not like the admin for sped ed. There also needs to be better congruency between all levels. There also needs to be mentors for new teachers. It is impossible for the instructional coaches to keep up with the work. I felt the least prepared this school year because I really didn’t know what needed to be done. I was thrown to the wolves and they chewed me up and spat me out. I will probably never teach again after working for your district.
