good steady work
Maintenance Technician III (Current Employee) –  Chandler, AZJuly 17, 2018
Like every company, it was a fine place to work for, but at the end Upper management is trying to save a dollar so hrs were cut and overtime is no longer. a compressed work week 36/48 turned to 36/40 a huge cut which will take over 6 years to get back to the yearly wage that you were making. it is close to home.

Small Company Feel but High Tech
Process Engineer (Former Employee) –  Woodstock, CTMarch 17, 2018
The nice thing about Rogers is that you can be a part of a high tech industry while still having a small company almost family like feel. Can enjoy the comforts of living in a quiet small town while still doing important work.

Good work environment, interesting place to work.
Process/Project Engineer (Former Employee) –  Manchester, CTFebruary 28, 2018
Rogers offered many opportunities to move and advance within the company. There were several locations to choose from; some close by in Connecticut and some elsewhere in the country and the world. The benefits package was one of the best I have seen; vacation days, medical insurance, etc. They also encouraged education to increase skills.
Pros
Good pay.
Cons
Too quick to move, sell, close down divisions.

Short term work
Contractor (Former Employee) –  ArizonaJanuary 25, 2018
Typical technical position. Need more communication between teams. Need more tools for the job. Disjointed management: USA and Europe. Long term employees make company look like potential FTE is possible.

Sr. Staff Engineer in the Corporate R&D department (Former Employee) –  Bothe AZ and CTDecember 28, 2017
It has been many years since my time at Rogers. This opinion is dated. Most of my contemporaries have moved on to the big company in the sky. They seem to be doing well, however.

Foam Line Oven Operator (Former Employee) –  Carol Stream, IL 60188October 2, 2017
I came aboard during a time when a new product was being discovered. It was a struggle every day but with team work we made it work. We learned from one another and put our deals together and tackled the task.

Great place to work
Production Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Carol Stream, ILSeptember 15, 2017
A typical day at work as a supervisor consisted of scheduling production and giving out work assignments, communicating to associates the goals for the day and the plans to achieve them.
monitoring the production process and making sure of the quality of the product, communicating the status of production runs with other departments, reporting production, reading emails. At Rogers, you are given training in all areas of management to acquire new skills or improve present skills. I really enjoyed my time there and the training that I was afforded.
Pros
great compensation
Cons
very structured

Too busy with "self"
Special Projects (Former Employee) –  Woodstock, CTMay 12, 2017
Supervisors and co-workers are too worried about looking good in the eyes of their peers, that they forget to do the tedious, mundane things. This makes more of a workload on others, which isn't fair but it happens.

Terrible place to work Bear De.
Mechanic (Former Employee) –  Bear, DEMay 10, 2017
Stay away from this company . This place is real clicky if you don't fit in there clic they will throw you under the bus until you are fired. Worst company I've ever worked for.I personally ended up on anxiety meds from this place. I was made to work unsafely didn't matter to the company. So much more can be said but to sum it up don't even apply here save you sanity and find a better place to apply too.
Pros
Benefits first day
Cons
Back stabbing, bad management., Can't take off to use your medical benefits., Unsafe working conditions.
