No Life! Working EVERY weekend, working Holidays, losing days off for last minute meetings, restructured their commissions to make less money for the employees(corporate greed). They do close for 3 holidays, although the next day you are required to be at work. If you don't live near your family, kiss holiday family time goodbye. Ridiculous amount of hours trapped with 15ish other sales people on slow days when they could easily let people go home early. Losing money for doing your job. Example, you sell a living room(you are not paid until after delivery). If delivery is damaged(once or through multiple deliveries) the customer can cancel or refuse their order due to damages. Which means you just lost your commission for doing your job as a salesperson.
The managers I have had have been good. It's all the higher ups. The guys that stare at a computer and tell you you're not doing enough. The guys that get to enjoy weekends and holidays. This company forgets that their employees are human. You are a six digit number at the end of the day!
That's funny. I was also offered a position on paper after 10 min interview in brookshire. Went to take drug test immediately after interview got home with email saying sorry not offering you the position anymore. I asked why and they stated " we mailed you a copy as to why". Lol? Still never got a letter been 6 months. Thanks rooms to go. Real classy
I was hired and then fired still with no explanation. Waiting for the mail to come in to explain the process.
