They asked me for mine but it made me very uncomfortable. Giving someone a resume with your dob on it plus the last 4 of your social after having nothing but a phone call is quite personal. They should instead come up with a unique identification number for candidates as this is too personal. I regret giving the recruiter this information as if it is a scam I would be vulnerable now.

You do not get any paid sick days. You can bring in a dr's note to not have an occurrence on your record. They currently give us 16 "emergency" hours per quarter to use if we need to call off and we can use that to not get a point.
