For mill production positions from the time setting up an interview to starting can last anywhere from 1-2 months. The reason for this are for different variables:
- Orientations are done with a group of new hires
- Orientations are completed only once or twice a month
- Applicants must give at least a two week notice at times to current employers
- Completion of background check, physical, drug screen, and reference checks
