Ross Dress For Less Assistant Store Manager Review
No
Assistant Store Manager (Former Employee) - Cuyahoga Falls, OH - November 9, 2022
corporate only cares about pushing more and more product out and does not care about employees or store management. the store has been severely understaffed for almost a year. they don’t give us payroll to hire but continue to send more and more product when we don’t have workers to do it. as management you will never get breaks or time off. not even a quick 5 or 10 minute break, the second you do corporate is on your neck about things not getting done. be prepared to never have personal time.

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER (Former Employee) - Hagerstown, MD - January 26, 2023
If the store has a weak management team, then no communication will be heard. Everyone will do as they please and the ones who know how to run will be held accountable for the actions of the newer people. If you are a closing manager then you must come to work and close the building. As well for the opening. Call outs on those shifts are unacceptable even sick, or have family circumstances.

Assistant Store Manager (Former Employee) - Monrovia, CA - January 22, 2023
Horrible company and back-stabbing management, avoid at all costs! They will throw you under the bus and take credit for the work you do. Plus you are expected to bend over backwards for the least amount of pay possible.

Unprofessional, they don't care about their workers
Retail Associate (Former Employee) - Cuyahoga Falls, OH - December 16, 2022
Worked there for a few years. Management is an absolute joke, they constantly tried to keep payroll as low as possible while sending us an unreasonable amount of daily product for our limited staff to handle. >50 lb boxes would get stacked high because we simply didn't have the staff to tackle it all, which was incredibly unsafe and stressful. Local management was clique-y and toxic, always talking bad about literally every employee behind their backs. Several call-offs EVERY shift, and action was hardly ever taken. Almost everyone, from floor employees to upper corporate management, was hugely unprofessional and ignorant to problems that needed addressed.
