Great culture, job not so much
Registrar Advisor (Current Employee) –  MiramarJanuary 30, 2018
Find yourself in an environment where everyone is welcoming and there is always something to do. I think this was one of my best jobs I worked at because the people made it that way. However, find yourself in a monitored environment where your calls are from students who are angry or entitled because of their lack of better word inability to study.

Professional Career Advisor (Current Employee) –  Miramar, FLAugust 14, 2017
RUSM was a great environment to work in to foster growth and improvement. However limited opportunity to be promoted only room for lateral promotions.

Increase Pay for the lack of technology
Registrar Advisor (Current Employee) –  Miramar, FLAugust 7, 2017
Technology is antiquated, and makes the advisors work double. Pay is very low in comparison to other schools, monitoring calls like a call center and expected to advise students that are consistently having trouble due to policy. Everything is expected to be done with a smile, and if you talk about how you really feel the manager shuts you up immediately.
Pros
free lunches, engagement committee, holiday party
Cons
technology, call center feel

Is about who you know! Same people get promoted repeatedly. Disorganized. Moral is down, and management stick together against employees. Regular employees are great, but management need to change.

Medical student (Former Employee) –  New JerseyJuly 29, 2013
I am a student here at Ross University School of Medicine. I love it, everyday and every clinical experience is diverse and unique. Every attending teaches me so much about what I will do in the future. Other nurses, and medical students are great as well. Typical day includes rounding, seeing patients, taking patient histories, performing physical exams, writing soap notes, and doing presentations.
Pros
learning experience
Cons
long hours sometimes
