Amazing culture
FINANCIAL ANALYST & SR. ACCOUNTANT (Former Employee) –  Orange, CAApril 25, 2018
Very worker-friendly & aspire towards work-life balance. Even in the sales field, they don't want you to work more that 40 Hour weeks.
The annual reviews are employee-initiated, where the department focuses on how to make things better, rather than what is bad.

Coordinator (Current Employee) –  CAMarch 19, 2018
This company prides itself on a great work culture and work-life balance, to which I fully agree. It wasn't the right fit for me since it is a due to job security and limited advancement opportunities.

Associate Assembler (Former Employee) –  Irvine, CAFebruary 5, 2018
A typical day at work, You would come on time sign in and get gown up, suited for the medical / clean rooms environments. The most difficult part of the job was sparing time out to get lunch off the main grounds since the cafeteria is closed in the evening/ night shifts. So I ended up packing my own lunches every evening as an alternative. The most enjoyable part of the job was tea at the last break, because it was refreshing to work the last hours of the shift afterwards.
Pros
good amount of breaks.
Cons
short breaks

File Clerk (Current Employee) –  Sacramento, CADecember 7, 2017
Sorting through papers, how to file correctly and in order, managers were fair, workplace culture was quiet, hardest part of the job was not staying focused, and the most enjoyable part was freedom.

Warehouse Associate (Temporary Position) (Former Employee) –  Fremont, CANovember 17, 2017
I would help assemble ATM machines. I gained the experience to work more productive by timing myself so I can move foward and faster to the next machines. The management had a great attitude. It was a fast placed position. It wasn't hard for me because I understood the job and I knew what had to be done. I enjoyed management because they knew the can depend on me.
Pros
Everyones work ethic.
Cons
None.

Model Mindeer (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLOctober 20, 2017
Roth Staffing has been the best company to work for. Everyone I have dealt with has been helpful, respectful and courteous. Problems and or questions have been resolved quickly, thoroughly and with updates along the way. They truly seem to care about their employees and if how their employees treat you is an example of how they are treated then that speaks volumes. Would highly recommend this company and not hesitate to work for them again.
Pros
Helpful, thorough and real

High Volume Office but Great Perks
Business Solutions Manager (Full Desk Recruiter) (Former Employee) –  CaliforniaOctober 16, 2017
Tons of work, it never seems to end. They're hardcore about sales aspect of recruiting. Running a full desk so sales and recruiting

Must be very structured and organized with time and day as running a full desk creates a higher stress environment.

They are willing to train heavily, even with no recruiting experience

Salary is decent, commission is low to start

Perks:
-They take care of their employees, health and financial benefits, even PET INSURANCE
-Friendy, outgoing, and diligent work culture
-9/80 work schedule (9 days, 80 hours over two weeks) so every other friday off.
-Option to work 7:30-5:30 or 8-6pm.
-Weekly employee recognition
-Supportive and continuous training model: everyone in the company is overly helpful and kind; they really know how to hire the right people
-Consistent feedback and opportunities to succeed
-Good amount of PTO, and holidays off
-Partial mileage reimbursement
-Tons of work (good and bad)

Pitfalls:
-Long interview process (4-5 interviews/meetings - pretty long for a recruiting position but they vet their candidates so it works too)
-Antiquated CRM system
-Seniority had a strong footprint in territory making it extremely challenging to make your break in your respective territory, unless you were taking over a book of business
-Candidate "ownership" policy was loosely enforced creating frustration for a limited candidate pool (partly due to bad candidate database)
-Too many holes in the quota/documentation system, making it easy to fabricate an employee's call logs/quota (literally had an employee tell me he
more... lied about his outbound calls everyday and "connects" (contact with a client's hiring manager"; he lasted longer than I did, and I didn't fabricate my numbers) to meet quota
-Pretty small commission percentage to start
-Long hours since it's a 9/80 schedule; the weeks where you had a friday off, you were still required to meet a typical week's quota
-Management seemed overly eager for your success so they get their bonus check (symbiotic relationship since you can make a lot of money too)
-Weekly Monday AM meetings where employees were to recite Mission, Vision, Values in a group setting became redundant after a few weeks on the job
- Operational Managers were full desk recruiters with management responsibilities, stretching themselves thin....more focus on separating managers from full desk roles will improve overall day-to-day managing. I've seen it before where full desks were managers and it created a lot of conflict, weak leadership, and poor auditing

worst work experience
sales & recruitment (Current Employee) –  Portland, ORSeptember 14, 2017
Extremely toxic work environment. Often caught the office manager speaking terribly about a colleague to another but act friendly toward them when she would see them; A lot of back stabbing. There's only a false promise of making big commission, which is not going to happen in this office.

Roth Staffing
Business Solutions Manager (Former Employee) –  Arlington, VAAugust 25, 2017
Working at Roth Staffing provided a good learning experience of various markets in the D.C. Metropolitan Area. Unfortunately certain management decisions within the branch led a number of people to leave voluntarily. One of the hardest parts of the job was not seeing management lead by example. One of the most enjoyable parts of the job was supplying the right candidates to our clients through creative means with a candidate video.

Recruiter/Account Manager (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJune 13, 2017
Be very careful with these guys. Management is barely around, no training and they're in the red, so that means you're a budget line. The HQ is in Cali, maybe the call centers are better over there?

Stay Away From the Ontario Branch
Business Solutions Specialist (Current Employee) –  Ontario, CANovember 28, 2016
There is a culture issue in the Ontario Branch. There are a lack of ethics and integrity here. If they do not like you, they try to make you leave even if you try to help make the situation better.

Medical Assistant/PCA (Current Employee) –  New Haven, CTApril 26, 2016
You have to be open to any situation, ready for whatever comes. The experience is a plus although some establishments take advantage of the opportunity. The hardest part of the job is working sometimes months without time off or having vacation time.
Pros
experience in different skills and building a working resume
Cons
no paid time off, if there is nothing available no income to come in.

Technical Recruiter (Current Employee) –  Southern CaliforniaDecember 2, 2015
Collaborative, cooperative culture and work/life balance are emphasized here which is great. You'll never dread coming to work. There doesn't seem to be much room for advancement but, if the agency setting is your cup of tea then this is a great place to be.

Great Out of College Position
Business Solutions Specialist (Former Employee) –  Fresno, CANovember 4, 2015
I loved the work, the learning curve, and most of people. There were a few backdated employee skirmishes that really packed in a "if you're new, you have a lot to experience as a sales person, hahaha" jumble. But as a whole, and aside from my major clash with a coworker, Roth Staffing was a wonderful place to be!
Pros
Free Scheduling, Pancake Breakfast, Open Managerial Review Time, and Great Coworkers
