I worked in WMS and my supervisor was a joke...he has no people skills and doesn't know much about what's going on...tries to get his workers to talk about each other...and that's not good supervision...
No respect of each other. Poor relations with men and women. Behind times. No benefits.
I worked at the Grovecity DDC from 2010 to 2012 as a picker and packer. The rest rooms often were dirty and out of paper and soap,Only one household microwwave in the lunchroom causing long lines at lunch to heat food, vending machines often out of product,,drinking fountins dispensed water with a milky like appearance, the cleaner would wipe down the table tops with the same cleaning cloth he used to clean the toilets in the rest room using windex, he swept, the floors but never mopped so floor always dirty, often low or out of shipping cartons to pack and ship product making our job hard looking around for shipping cartons,Frequent mandatory overtime with little or no notice always at the last minute,During the summer very hot, management would sometimes put out a cooler with cold gatoraide. When the ambulance would come to treat someone with heat symtoms, only then would the gatoraide come out. Employees were abused, bad place to work
Constant turnover of upper management every 2 to 3 years. Core of longtime employees keep to themselves and are a little help.
If you like incompetent managers, no bonuses, a 1% yearly pay increase, a 4-5% health care increase for terrible insurance, and no 401k contribution, weekly mandatory overtime because work is scheduled terribly, than this is the place for you.
Toxic work environment. Unprofessional and untrustworthy HR and management. No job security. Expensive benefits and no 401K match. Take a job here at your own risk.
Down to earth
