Lies too much
Returns Processor (Former Employee) –  ReturnsApril 19, 2018
HR will lie to you.. don't know if they are afraid to tell the truth.. but I was personally lied too by the"Restructured" more improved HR as they call themselves. I enjoyed working there.. but after my experience with HR I wouldn't recommend it. Very unprofessional for an HR department.
Pros
Benefits only
Cons
Management and HR.

Stressful, overworked and underpaid
Event Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Boston, MAFebruary 1, 2018
This job is an entry level position, however, the workload is a lot and extremely stressful the salary range is definitely not align with the work produced. The programming used in this company is very very basic and everything is manual leaving ALOT of room for error and mistakes. This creates more work because you then have to manually fix everything! The salary compensation is very low (in my opinion) for the position. In addition you to pay $250 a month for a parking garage or $250 for monthly commuter rail pass. I think I spent more money just commuting to this job than I did earning. Managers don’t take leadership over their teams. No one ever takes a lunch break. My time spent here was always a working lunch
Pros
Free bagels every Friday
Cons
Low pay, no official breaks, overworked

Not worth the stress
Order Picker/Forklift Operator (Former Employee) –  Shepherdsville, KYDecember 5, 2017
. Equipment and computer systems are outdated, the outbound picking carts are heavy and usually in terrible shape. They hardly ever get fixed. Order pickers are damaged, and need a decent amount of work done to them. Best advice is find a different company they will sweet talk you to get you in, they claimed 4 ten hour shifts but they work Monday-Friday guaranteed with Saturdays being overtime days for first shift. The work its self is easy, but like most places management has no idea what they are doing.

NOT WORTH THE STRESS. - Management shows a lots of favoritism and you can tell right off who "the privileged ones" are.

Collaborative but exhausting workplace
Assistant Buyer, European Luxury Fashion (Current Employee) –  Boston, MANovember 12, 2017
Great culture - very collaborative, energetic. Exposure to interesting product, national and international vendors. Learning from other departments and categories is strongly encouraged. Upper management successfully communicates with lower employees.

Business intelligence tools used within the company are not efficient, some assistant buyer duties are very manual and numbing. Poor compensation compared to the rest of the buying market.
Pros
Sample sales
Cons
Lunch break not encouraged, no overtime pay, very manual / mind numbing work

Horrible management
Developer (Former Employee) –  Boston, MANovember 2, 2017
No central leadership in departments no communication or cooperation between different departments. Some departments are just straight out all the time others don’t really do much. Produces a lot of stress.
Pros
Free food. Beer on Thursday’s.
Cons
Poor management no leadership. Lower than industry pay.

Great day to day, with mentorship opportunities. Work/life balance great, social office, work hard play harder attitude. Toughest part of the job was that it was contract, lots of contract jobs so no job security.

Not Worth It
Assistant Buyer (Former Employee) –  Boston, MAMarch 2, 2017
You will be glued to your computer all day with minimal time to eat or go to the bathroom. The pay is not worth the stress. The management does not listen to their employees in the merch. department. Very immature work place with so much drama. Nothing is ever good enough and you will never feel accomplished.
Pros
Free soft drinks and coffee
Cons
Awful pay, management, and don't except to experience a social life at work in the merch. department

Hard, but productive work with friendly and helpful people
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) –  Shepherdsville, KYJune 2, 2016
Every day, the duties were the same. Everyone was expected to meet an hourly rate, and more often than not, everyone met it. The people were friendly if you were friendly to them and the supervisors were not too strict, and would allow for the occasional error.

Picker/Loader (Current Employee) –  Shepherdsville, KYOctober 6, 2015
good place to work great benefits pay rate could be better. high turn over rate I think because of lack of training and communication . I have seen people put on jobs and they still didn't know what they were doing even after their training.
