There needs to be something done for better employee engagement. They preach about how they care for the employees but honestly they only care about the bottom line. I have seen so many great employees and managers leave or pushed out for no reason. You cant run a company when you have no compassion for people. You cant preach something you know nothing about. Just because a company says they care doesn't make it so and no amount of training can teach you to be a decent person.

Better pay, better training, an hr person who never takes time to listen to you, more help so that when you’re trying to do a 4473 you aren’t interupted by rude customers demanding help, more time for us to get our Dept. done instead of unloading trucks, not making us have to cut our time one day to make up for staying late one night due to problems that weren’t your fault.

A new administrative coordinator....they are sort of hr for the store and give new hires the do' s and donts and what is expected as company standards. Ours wears jeans with huge holes all down the legs only on the days the manager is off. She's also been telling people how much of a raise other people got and that one guy is getting a dollar raise for moving from one department to another one. I'm a department manager and have been for longer than him. Now I know his raise and hourly pay. I'm upset by this. I'm always worried about who she tells my stuff to. I mean department managers aren't paid great but that's my business. I thought that stuff was only supposed to be known by hr and the manager? We've always been told managers and the administrative coordinator couldn't hang out with floor people because of favoritism and confidentiality but she takes other department managers to lunch all the time. I guess our new manager doesn't care because he never says nothing about nothing. Also the manager runs us all over helping other departments but doesn't say thank you or good job, he just yells at us because our own department falls behind when he makes us help other departments. It's hard to stay ahead and after almost 5 years with this company I'm looking for another job on my days off because these two people have created an unfriendly and untrusting work place.
