Long hours. Working the store by yourself during busy times. Culture feels fake and pushed from the get go. They pamper you with trinkets like a fidget spinner and other useless items in order to make you feel like you’re being rewarded. Health insurance astronomically high. Paid time off impossible to use, doesn’t carry over if unused. Commission makes it unreliable. iPhones are $2 a phone and androids are $4 a phone. They tell you the commission doesn’t max out, and it doesn’t, but good luck hitting your bonuses. Numbers are incredibly high and unreasonable to hit at times. You must sell everything in every category in order to keep the job. You will feel like you are swindling people after a while just to make a buck. Management is a joke. You receive “recognition” for exceeding your numbers. No added benefits besides that. No one really recognizes you either. Career path limited. Management is salaried at about a $0.50 cent average compared to hourly.

It was great in the beginning. And once you don't jump your DSMs commands your the black sheep of the district and they wont leave you alone. They punish staff for talking to upper management to discuss issues. The pay is terrible and they will make you use your own car to do their marketing instead of investing the money to do their marketing. Stay away.

They try their best to “sell” you on their culture and all that to make up for their ridiculously low pay, lackluster benefits and limited advancement. The only ones they care about keeping are DSM level management up. I was even told by an executive that they only expect employees to stay a maximum of two years before moving on. They encourage turnover! But that’s part of their deal, that keeps benefit and wage costs low. You don’t get full advantage of benefits and decent wage increases until after two years.
