Starbucks Barista in Piscataway, NJ

I work at the Rutgers Starbucks. I'm a student worker and I like that the hours stay the same throughout the semester. The hardest part is probably the rushes, but it is usually predictable when they happen because it's usually after classes end (2:00, 3:20, etc).

The department’s vary at Rutgers. But they have great benefits. Things can get hectic there and pay is okay. Mostly enjoy how you don’t have to take off for major holidays

Great company to work for when you have great peers in your department. I am fortunate in that way. However management does not promote individuals from within, very much favoritism and at times can be have bully culture.

Management and compensation is uneven at best when it comes to performance and productivity. EVERYONE gets the same increase regardless of performance IF there is an increase at all. It is common for compensation to be deferred for 12 months or more. HR department is just not good at all.
Fitness Assistant in New Brunswick, NJ

Working here is very easy. You just have to go through CPR training, and know what to do in emergencies, but most of the downtime is spent making sure that patrons are taken care of. Hours are flexible too! Overall great place to work!
