Terrible management with a horrible working environment
Assistant Commerical Underwriter (Former Employee) –  PennsylvaniaJune 13, 2018
The management was basically nonexistent and no one would ever answer questions. When you call in regards to HR questions, you only get transferred. You normally end up with having a voicemail and then no return call. The staff is very cut throat with no management to step in and control the bullies. You would have to disclose why you wanted to use your PTO. I would not recommend working for Ryan Specialty Group.
Pros
PTO and benefits
Cons
Non management and daily bullying

Senior Accounting Manager (US/CAD/UK Divisions) (Current Employee) –  Melville, NYMarch 3, 2018
Managing a team of five who are responsible for AR and AP for eighteen division - at an approx. amount of 10 million a month:
Current management is good, but due to recent resignations we are going through a management change. The culture is great - it is like working with family.
The hardest part of position is working with an corporate accounting team located in a different state.
The most enjoyable part is working with my great team .

Shared Services (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILAugust 8, 2017
If you can put up with the chauvinist culture and have a good job path this place is worth your time - if you aren't on a path to advancement don't waste your time.
