Your management looks down on employees and the entire leadership is in disarray. It would be because the company and people in it do not care about the employees. For Ryder it is all about profits.

The management and dispatch works with you very well when needed. They don't hound you and bother you they allow you to be a independent driver and the pay is very good

Show up on time. Have detailed resume and ask a lot of questions. Talk to a tech on the floor as well.

Not sure - I was a salary employee and worked through my lunch every day while my boss took an hour and a half lunch. Worked about 70 hours a week but if I needed to leave an hour or so early was told I had to make up time - trust me when I say DO NOT WORK HERE.

 If you don't value your employees they will leave. This companies is going down hill pay, benefits and retirement are terrible. BRINGING BACK THE PENSION AND UPDATING PAY AND BENEFIT POLICIES THAT ARE AFFORDABLE AND ARE EXCELLENT FOR THE EMPLOYEE. OTHER WISE THEY WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE WORKERS TO THERE COMPETITORS THAT GIVE YOU AN UONEST WAGE TO SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

We work 60 hrs a week mandatory and that is 6 ten hours days mandatory. so home life sucks
