evolving company
manager (Current Employee) –  New York, NYMay 10, 2019
non-stop change in structure suggests uncertainty in direction and path. compensation is contracting considerably and while focus is on transforming to a data science company, there are numerous internal challenges

Too much change
Product Owner (Current Employee) –  New York, NYMarch 9, 2019
There has been continuous management changes within the organization. It is difficult to get into a rhythm when the senior management is always changing. Roles and responsibilities are also unclear.

This was my 2nd internship during college and I learned new skillsets on data modeling and data science, and this word never even exist to me until I started working here so it's a great start for exposure on data work.

Not as it used to be
Senior Business Analyst -Project Manager (Current Employee) –  New York, NYOctober 23, 2017
This company used to be a very well staffed highly organized company with a lot of process. The work life balance was fantastic and it just lacked leading edge technology. Senior management is now attempting to be competitive by introducing lean company practices without understanding how to do it properly. The people that work on the front lines remain the strongest reason to work there. They are friendly, smart, and hard working.
Pros
high pay; good benefits; great people
Cons
Unrealistic project goals and timelines; high burn-out rate

Executive Assistant (Current Employee) –  New York, NYOctober 20, 2017
Overall, the company is a great place to work. The team of EA's are amazing on the Ratings side. There are a lot of company-wide changes and a lot of downsizing, but overall, a great place to work.

Lack of junior and senior camaraderie
Credit Analyst - Financial Services Group (Current Employee) –  New York, NYAugust 31, 2017
There seemed to be a lack of strong mentorship and care on junior analysts from senior employees. They were mostly complacent with their roles and were in their comfort zone.

Great Work / Life Balance
Paralegal (Current Employee) –  New York, NYFebruary 1, 2017
Working at S&P Global I've been able to maintain a very healthy work life balance with out projects lapsing or deadlines missed. The compensation plan and benefits package is one of the best I've ever experienced.

The most difficult part of the job is not specific to the position but rather to the department and a lack of knowing how to designate duties and projects accordingly.
