Volunteer Coordinator in Albuquerque, NM

I would recruit volunteers to help with child care, working in the kitchen, yard work. anything that a volunteer was asked by the staff. Sometimes It was hard to deal with the children that came from abusive homes.

Management here is a joke. It all stems from the Executive Director who will fire someone who doesn't agree with her. There is a lot of lack of communication. Being loyalty n reliable n going the extra mile means nothing to them. They will work you to the bone and pay you a measley salary. Apply at more reputable places that will pay you the same amount for less work. Iworth it at all.
Case Manager in Albuquerque, NM

Almost all the case managers are white. No multicultural mix. Case manager supervisor is manipulative and has no experience with people with mental illness. Staff and upper management is very unprofessional. Got treated horribly and like as if I was a criminal just because I took the time to actually help the families.
Resident Advocate in Albuquerque, NM

A typical day is fast and challenging. I've learned that there are more people than I think that goes through Domestic Violence. Management is poor, I feel as there is not enough help. Workplace culture is stressful but rewarding. The hardest part of the job is being shorthanded and poor management. The most enjoyable part of the day is helping out our residents.
