Custodian (Current Employee) – San Bernardino, CA – June 1, 2018
As soon as you arrive you are assigned your building and its straight to work cleaning a school building. You clean classrooms as well as offices. You sweep, mop, dust, pick up trash, and any extras staff may ask of you. I learned teamwork, and moving at a quick pace. The management here is top notch. They are here to help you. Working at a college is a quick pace environment, you are always moving. I enjoy going to work everyday, it's a great place to work.

Laboratory Technician (Current Employee) – San Bernardino, CA – May 30, 2017
The culture of this campus is changing for the better, but there is a lot of work to do to make it a great place to work. If you have a good boss you will like your job, but most bosses have no idea how to manage their staff and prefer not to manage
Great benefits with a no out-of-pocket cost per month
Accounting Clerk II (Former Employee) – San Bernardino, CA – November 15, 2016
Benefits are great! Majority of the employees are nice. Pay is not as high as other school districts. HR and management are horrible. Can't go to HR for any help/assistance. They like to swept it under the rug so they dont have to actually work and dont keep it confidential. Management is the same way. Never around, have no idea what their employee jod duties are or have an idea what the processes are. Management doesn't seem to care what you do, what any issues are, how well you work as long as you dont bother them. System is corrupt! They like employees whom don't work, they get praised and the ones who work hard get treated like dirt. Management is quick to throw the hard working people under the bus.
Purchasing Agent (Former Employee) – San Bernardino, CA – March 7, 2016
The people are very nice here, however the uppers are highly questionable in their ethical practices. Many people are out on extended leaves, "Borrow" articles from the colleges that they shouldn't such as warehouse trucks for home use, gas cards for personal trips. Etc.
Human Resources Recruiter (Professional Expert) (Current Employee) – San Bernardino, CA – March 25, 2015
The San Bernardino Community College District is dedicated to serve all its students and employees. However, the opportunities that it has to offer employees can become limited at times. However, when you are the one receiving the opportunity you really cannot say much. In addition, they do a great Job of treating everyone with respect regardless of the position you are working in.

Development Associate (Former Employee) – San Bernardino, CA – August 2, 2011
San Bernardino Community College does a splendid job in respect to being a part of the outlying community. The institution looks within its ranks of graduates for local talent as well as giving others from the outside a fair opportunity to participate.
