San Francisco Ballet has kind hearted individuals. I found some of the managers to be manic with tendencies to micro manage. Free tickets to performances made it worth working there.

Arguably one of the best companies of it's type in the US, and successful at maintaining and promoting the art form. But for what it does well on the artistic side, it lacks in the administrative side.

Pros

access to dress rehearsals, good vacation and sick leave.

Cons

no real advancement opportunity, low yearly increases in salary (well below cost of living)
