Mortgage Loan Processor (Current Employee) – San Francisco, CA – August 20, 2017
Collect mortgage loan files from mortgage loan officers. Examine files, supporting loan documents, order services (appraisals, title reports, ect ...), once processed, move files to underwriting. My biggest take-away would be how to get things accomplished as a team. Management has been extremely supporting of me.My present workplace culture is comprised of very thoughtful people. The hardest part of the job is at times an inconsistent work process. The most enjoyable part of the job is member satisfaction.
Avoid, don't waste your time, they don't want to change.
Real Estate (Former Employee) – San Francisco, CA – September 10, 2018
Very poor management, underwriter, loan processors, have been there so long that the cannot move into modern day technology, or thing out of the box, still asking for documents that are not need from the members, loan are manually underwritten. The Real Estate mortgage team is clickish, if you speak Chinese you might fit in. The company does not have an Human Resource full time employee.
Development (Former Employee) – San Francisco, CA – September 18, 2017
This place....HR is unprofessional and incompetent, IMing other staff while hosting a training in full view of others speaking negatively about staff. What a joke. Management is chock full of nepotism, it may be getting better with new CEO but the culture is one of mediocrity so unless you're going to retire in 5 years do not bother working here.
Financial Services Representative II (Former Employee) – San Francisco, CA – October 16, 2012
You can see the contrast in values between the Credit Union business model versus Banking. Its the decision between Customer Centric decision to Fee driven revenue. I've learned the value of understanding what it means to work for a good company versus just earning a paycheck.
