Working on an on call voluntary basis with San Juan County was one of the best decisions I have made. Working with people who are willing to assist you and answer any questions you need was awesome. Quick response and teamwork when called out was fast pace and adrenaline rush. I am glad I had the opportunity to work with some great people.

Good job , easy and fair pay
Temporary Labor (Former Employee) –  Aztec, NMSeptember 30, 2018
its easy going and the pay is okay, people could be rude and do a lot of gossip about others. As long as you do your job you will be done with the day quickly.

The essential knowledge about this job is the client's behavior after treatment. You will be monitoring and recording every encounter or issues with the client including negative BAC readings.

Cons
Some areas of the community can be hostile to your visit.

Would be better if adequate instruction was given when major changes occur. Too many changes over a very short period of time.
Good benefits and co-workers.

detention (Former Employee) –  New MexicoOctober 31, 2015
The pay and benefits are good. But upper management could care less about employees. They don't praise workers for doing a good job. But are quick to point out there faults. Good old boy atmosphere to move up.
Pros
Good pay & benefits
Cons
No raises, management doesn't care about workers.
