For team members in their position for a year or more, raises occur annually and we consider cost of living, tenure in position, as well as any changes in job responsibilities. If someone is promoted to a different position or their job responsibilities increase, they would receive a raise to a level commiserate with their new responsibilities.

Our clerk positions start at $13.00 per hour and we set new employees' compensation from there based on their relevant experience.

They asked pretty in-depth questions about customer service ("what does customer service look like to you"; "when is a time you received/gave great service", etc.). They also wanted to know a good deal about your personality in regards to helping people. There was only one question about how I would handle an angry customer, and about three situational/ABC questions (what would you do in ___ situation?). One of the questions asked how I would prioritize different tasks in order from most important to least.
