Upper management do not respect RS staff. The hours can be daunting 16-24hr shifts if there’s an emergency and no recognition for very hard work. No room for growth, pro option within is rare, too much a-kissing. Working with uneducated and stressed out people can be just as exhausting.

The Shelter directors use camera's to watch employees work it makes us feel untrustworthy and incompetent, The residents are for the most part very agressive and disrespectful. We are asked to do many things not described in out job description but, other staff are very welcolming and helpful
